15 October 12 - Skills Academy chooses eOrigen as eLearning partner

eOrigen have successfully bid to become the eLearning partner to the National Skills Academy for Nuclear.

Following a decision earlier this year by the Skills Academy “to stimulate, coordinate and enable excellence in skills to support the Nuclear Programme”, businesses were invited to tender to its High Quality Provider Network to provide e-Learning products and services.

This includes the development and maintenance of a nuclear e-Learning environment, housing the e-Learning versions of the Award for Nuclear Industry Awareness and Triple Bar courses.

eOrigen will now begin to manage the hosting and future updating and development of the Skills Academy’s e-learning provision.

Tricia Austin, Head of Development for the National Skills Academy Nuclear commented;

"eOrigen are a leading e-Learning production company with ISO 9001 Accreditation for eLearning, Training Solutions and Corporate Communications and IVCA Awards.  During the tender process , one of the main points which made eOrigen stand out was their vast experience in this field and the partnerships they have developed with industry and providers, which when coupled with their understanding of the user experience, enables them to provide engaging and highly effective learning products and services.  We look forward to working with eOrigen on future developments."

Mike Mulvihill, Managing Director of eOrigen commented;

"We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the team at the National Skills Academy for Nuclear and look forward to managing  their existing e-learning provision. With their support we also have  plans to develop and distribute new digital learning products to the broader nuclear employer network. In doing so, we will help them  drive their vision forward to offer excellence in digital learning to support the Nuclear Programme"

eOrigen is retained by many organisations in the nuclear sector to produce bespoke digital eLearning and training films. To date the company has completed over 100 projects which have continually embraced new ways of learning utilising the best in learning technologies. The company is renowned for its quality and creative ideas for learning and development in the nuclear sector worldwide.  eOrigen currently operates predominantly within the Nuclear, Health and Education sectors but has recently won contracts in both the Financial Services and Public sectors.
