Specifically designed to offer an exciting investment story with the potential for substantial capital growth, the Lacomp British Enterprise EIS Funds provide investors with a spread of investments in small and early stage companies that qualify for the generous tax reliefs available through the Enterprise Investment Scheme.
The tax benefits available to an EIS investment are more generous than can be gained via pensions or Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs): qualifying EIS investments enjoy Income Tax Relief at 20%, and after only two years can be exempt from Inheritance Tax; capital gains are exempt from Capital Gains Tax, while existing or expected CGT liabilities may be deferred.
Lacomp EIS Funds each invest in a minimim of four different companies, giving investors a spread of risk by holding a 'portfolio' of investments, while all the British Enterprise EIS Funds are Approved Investment Funds (approved by HMRC), a critical factor for some of the taxation benefits.
